Can you make a Microsoft LifeCam Cinema work on a Mac?

I just bought a macbook and I would like to use this webcam that I bought last summer on my new laptop.

It doesn’t look like, and no real surprise that they do not make a Mac driver for your webcam. Most people still own Windows PCs and i think the only reason they make Microsoft Office for the Mac, is to keep corporate clients that have creative departments that use Macs.

I use that same webcam on Linux machines and have had no trouble using them via Cheese and other Linux webcam software.

I would try a demo version of Sparkbooth to see if you can use the webcam via it.

Can it be done, probably! Will it be easy? Probably not.
