They lost last week to Iowa State and I’m worried that they are going to screw it up like last year, only at the beginning of the season.
I know a lot of the players were in the hospital and were all messed up for weeks.
Are we going to have a decent team this year? Is this a sign that I should be supporting Iowa State and not the Hawkeyes?

The Hawkeyes just won again yesterday, against the University of Louisiana at Monroe. The score 45 to 17. Hopefully Iowa will be able to keep this us.

It was also nice to see all the green, worn by the team and the fans for former Iowa Hawkeye Brett Greenwood, who suffered an apparent heart attack while meeting with fans before a a game at the high school he graduated from in Pleasant Valley, Iowa.
Too bad Greenwood was recently cut from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Let’s hope he gets well soon.

Well Iowa won yesterday against the University of Pittsburgh. They won 31 to 27. They were getting beat early on but had the largest comeback in the University of Iowa’s history, by 21 points, to win the game.
So I think they’ve got a shot. We’ll just have to keep an eye on them every week and let them know that their fans have high expectations for them.
